Odyssey Winery and Vineyards

Odyssey Winery and Vineyards is a small family-owned winery designed to be a high-quality, scientifically based, production winery. The first use-permitted winery in Butte County, Odyssey Winery was conceived in 1979 by Norm and Janice Rosene when they were students at UC Davis.

All red wines are aged in American or French oak barrels for at least two years. Selected white wines are also aged in French oak barrels. Odyssey is one of the few local wineries with the ability to sterile filter wines with residual sugar. This allows for more flexibility in wine style, and facilitates the production of true dessert wines.
