Salmon Festival
Each year the Oroville Salmon Festival celebrates the return of the salmon to the Feather River. Join the celebration by viewing the salmon run at the fish hatchery, running in the 3k Salmon Dash, wandering through the street fair, and tasting salmon dishes prepared in various styles.
This family-friendly event always takes place on the fourth Saturday in September.

Friday, 9/22
- 6pm: Salmon Soirée Hosted By The Friends of the Feather River Nature Center
- Purchase tickets at the Oroville Chamber of Commerce, Marcozzi Jewelers, or Farmhouse Cottage
Saturday, 9/23
- 8am: Pancake Breakfast at JC Java, 1574 Huntoon St.
- 9am: Avie's Place 3K Color Run along The Levee (registration starts at 8am at the Oroville Convention Center)
- 10am-4pm
- Feather River Fish Hatchery Tours & More
- Food Court & Beer Garden Hosted by Feather Falls Casino & Lodge and Feather Falls Brewing Company, Lower Oroville Convention Center Parking Lot, 1200 Myers St.
- Salmon Festival Motor Mania throughout Downtown Oroville
- Downtown Oroville Activities throughout Downtown OrovillE
- Kid Zone at the Upper Oroville Convention Center Parking Lot, 1200 Myers St.
- Free Admission to the City of Oroville Museums
- 11am: PCW Salmon Smackdown, outside the Oroville Convention Center
