Chico Ice Rink in the Plaza

Chico Ice Rink in the Plaza is a seasonal outdoor rink in Downtown Chico. With events such as Christmas Preview and the Annual Tree Lighting, Downtown Chico is a vibrant hub of festive holiday activity.

Open from November 17, 2022 through January 9, 2023, the Chico Ice Rink in the Plaza will feature ice skating sessions, skating lessons, and private party events. This joint effort with the Downtown Chico Business Association will be adjacent to our City Hall and located in an area of over 425 diverse businesses.

Regular Hours

• Mondays-Thursdays: 4pm-9pm
• Fridays-Sundays: Noon-9pm

Holiday Hours

• Thanksgiving Break (11/21 - 11/25): Noon-9pm
• Winter Break (12/26 - 1/6): Noon-9pm
• Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day: Noon-8pm
