Blessing of the Grapes
New Clairvaux Vineyard's 16th annual Blessing of the Grapes ceremony returns in 2022 on July 23 at 10:30am. There is no charge for entry, but there is a small fee for wine tasting (which includes a logo glass to take home).
The ceremony dates back to a 1400-year-old tradition of blessing vineyards before harvest begins.
Schedule
- 9am-2pm: Agricultural vendor market, featuring monk-made goods as well as local vendors
- 10:30am: Blessing Ceremony, led by the Monks of Vina
- Wine tasting, tours, and food from local mobile caterers will be available after the conclusion of the ceremony
