New statewide report from Visit California finds that tourism is recovering rapidly in Butte County and across the state. New survey data also shows Californians value tourism’s economic and social benefits.
Explore Butte County is excited to announce the 5th annual Butte County Restaurant Week, a popular culinary celebration that is planned for March 24 - April 2, 2023 (and timed to include two weekends). With 21 restaurants participating, the 10-day food journey is highlighted by delicious meals, many made with ingredients sourced locally, along with fabulous food and drink pairings, vegetarian, and family-style options, and more.
The North State museum community is proud to participate in the 4th annual Butte County Museum Weekend presented by Explore Butte County. This year’s event will take place on February 25 & 26. Nearly 20 local museums, galleries and cultural centers will offer free admission from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the in-person event, with each showcasing a new exhibit or extra offering for the weekend.
In October, Explore Butte County is proud to once again partner with the Sierra Oro Farm Trail to promote the month-long mobile Farm & Wine Pass available as part of the local farming community’s annual harvest celebration. The mobile tasting pass offers admission to more than 30 Butte County farms and wineries, opening the door to world-class specialty food destinations throughout the region.

The Sierra Oro Farm Trail Farm & Wine Pass is back in 2022.
